Knosen Antiques began in 2020, when founder Amanda Knorr had her heart set on a particular European sleigh bed. When it proved nearly impossible to find them here in the US, she decided to source them for herself and others. Five years later, she continues to import these beds for customers across the country, along with a highly-curated selection of other English and European antiques large and small.

After selling many beds, a few questions kept coming up from customers: Do they come in US standard sizes? Are matching pairs available? Are any larger sizes available?

For years behind the scenes, we've worked hard to build a bed that would help to tick all of these boxes. The result is a bed that honors traditional European craftsmanship while solving for contemporary needs. Hand-built in a small workshop in Indiana using sustainably-sourced American wood, each bed goes through an extended finishing process we developed specifically to replicate the warm, lived-in patina of genuine antiques. We obsessed over every detail. It's designed to age beautifully and last for generations.
