The Knosen Sleigh Bed

Twin Size

The Knosen Sleigh Bed: Twin

At long last! Our first official USA-made pine sleigh bed. These new beds were years in the making and are finally here. They are true to the antique construction: pine bodies, oak legs and finials, and the same hidden L-hook hardware we know and love. This bed was modeled after the very first bed I ever imported from the UK. It's where it all started, and it only felt right to pay homage in this way. A simple scallop on the headboard and footboard, deep side rails, and in a US standard mattress size!

We have a limited selection of these beds on hand and in stock. After those first beds sell, the second round of beds will take 14-16 weeks to ship out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes are available?

Our sleigh beds are currently available in US standard twin and full sizes.

Which mattress thickness should I choose?

The lowest part of the curved side rails sits 8" above the slats. An 8" mattress will align flush with this "dip" in the curve. A thicker mattress will rise above it. Choose based on your preferred aesthetic and ease of getting in and out of bed.

Will you continue to sell the antique beds?

Yes! The antique beds will still be available as part of the antique drops.

What materials are used?

Each bed is handcrafted in Indiana, using ethically-sourced American pine and oak.

How long does it take to receive my order?

We have a limited number of beds from our first production run available for shipment in 2-4 weeks. Our second run is currently underway and will ship in 14-16 weeks. Lead times will be listed on the product page based on current inventory.

How will the beds ship?

The beds will ship via courier, blanket wrapped—just like our antiques.

Do the beds require assembly?

Minimal assembly is required—simply slide the siderails into the headboard and footboard, then add the slats. We recommend two people for ease of setup. It will take just a few minutes!

What is your return policy?

Due to the made-to-order nature of our beds, all sales are final. Please contact us if you have any Qs prior to your order!
